Ingredients
2flour tortillas (any size that fits in your air fryer)
softened butter
shredded mozzarella cheese
sprinkle of garlic powder and Italian seasoning
Instructions
Use a butter knife to spread softened butter over TWO flour tortillas, covering them all the way to the edge. I use soft taco size tortillas with about one tablespoon of butter for each.
Load each buttered tortilla with a generous amount of shredded cheese and then sprinkle with garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
Stack the two cheese loaded tortillas on top of each other, and place in a preheated 375° air fryer for approximately 5 minutes. Keep an eye on it! Pull it out as soon as the cheese turns a deep golden brown color with crispy edges.
Allow it to cool for a minute or two and then slice with a pizza cutter into individual servings.
Notes
The beauty of this easy tortilla garlic bread is that there's no EXACT recipe here. Simply slather with butter, sprinkle with cheese, and season however you'd like.
You can use any soft shredded cheese for this garlic bread including mozzarella, parmesan, cheddar, Monterey Jack, etc. You could even try a combination! We just use whatever we already have on hand.
Try topping with other fun ingredients for added flavor including jalapeños, pepperoni, bacon bits, olives, basil pesto, herbs, red pepper flakes, leftover meat, etc. If you include anything leafy such as basil or spinach, be sure to bury it under the cheese so that it doesn't fly away.
This cheesy bread can be served as a yummy snack, appetizer, or side dish with any meal including salad, soup, spaghetti, and more.
Take it up a notch with your favorite dipping sauce such as marinara or ranch dressing.
