Instructions
Preheat oven to 350° F.
In a large pan, brown and chop your ground beef. Drain any unwanted grease, and then mix with your taco seasoning and about 1/2 cup water; set aside.
Place all of the crescent roll triangles in a pie dish with the pointy tips in the center and the short edges on the outer side of the dish. Use your fingers to mold the dough together into the form of a pie crust.
Use a fork to make holes in the bottom of the newly formed crust, and then place it in the oven for about 5 minutes so that the dough is slightly cooked before placing your ingredients inside.
Allow the crust to cool for a few minutes, and then place a couple handfuls of corn chips onto the bottom of the crust.
Layer on your seasoned ground beef, and then evenly spread about 1/2 cup of sour cream over top. Add anything else to the top of the sour cream that you'd like cooked such as beans, olives, peppers, or jalapeños .
Top with 1+ cups of shredded cheese such as cheddar, Monterey jack, or a Mexican cheese blend.
Place the pie back into the oven for about 20 minutes, or until the crust is cooked through.
Remove from the oven and allow it to cool for 5-10 minutes before slicing. Top with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, avocado, hot sauce, more Fritos, and anything else you'd like!
