An easy copycat recipe made with ingredients that you probably already have!
Looking for chicken nugget dipping sauce ideas? This homemade Chick-fil-A sauce is ALL YOU NEED! It’s absolutely delicious and made with just 4 simple ingredients that you probably already have at home.
My kids are huge Chick-fil-A fans and make this copycat dipping sauce recipe all of the time for frozen fries and chicken. It’s made with just mayonnaise, barbecue sauce, mustard and honey! You won’t believe how good these basic ingredients are when they are all mixed up together. It’s also amazing spread into a sandwich or burger.
The BEST homemade dipping sauce for chicken nuggets and tenders.
The barbecue sauce brand that you use will make the biggest difference in how this sauce turns out (some are smokey, some are sweet and some are spicy). I recommend the original Sweet Baby Ray’s, but any brand will do. However, if you use a sweetened bbq sauce, you might want to leave out some or all of the honey.
How To Make Homemade Chick-fil-A Sauce
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp honey

This dipping sauce recipe makes the perfect amount for one or two people, so double the recipe if you like a lot of sauce or are serving more people. It’s just as good leftover so don’t worry about making too much!
