How To Make Breakfast Pigs In A Blanket With Cinnamon Rolls
Delicious is an understatement for this sweet and savory breakfast recipe. It’s so good everyone will be fighting for the last one! If you’ve got a crowd to feed, go ahead and double up on the recipe to make sure everyone gets a belly full.
Step 1Open the tube of cinnamon rolls and set the frosting aside for later. Slightly flatten the cinnamon rolls to create a small blanket for each sausage link.
Step 2Place a piece of sausage in the middle of each cinnamon roll and wrap the dough around. Pinch to seal the dough together like shown below.
Step 3Place the sausage stuffed cinnamon rolls with the SEAM SIDES DOWN onto a parchment lined baking sheet. I had two extra sausage links in the pack that I bought, so I simply cooked them with the cinnamon rolls on the same sheet pan.
Step 4Bake in 375° F oven for 12-15 minutes or until the dough is cooked through and golden brown on the top. Allow them to cool for a few minutes and then drizzle with the icing! I’ll bet you can’t eat just one.
Seriously, if you’re looking for yummy breakfast ideas to make at home, these Cinnamon Roll Pigs In A Blanket will be like a new adventure for your taste buds.
My kids are little sugar crazy, so we enjoy them with hot syrup, but to be honest, they are sweet and gooey enough on their own thanks to the icing that comes with the rolls. To make the breakfast complete, you could also serve this handheld food with a side of scrambled eggs, fruit, or maybe these Crispy Sheet Pan Hash Browns?
